Xbox Controls - Buildmode Question
@MzMelonz it's now the Y button to place flooring by room, bumpers rotate the tile and X places a triangle piece. Y should also work for wall coverings too but unfortunately it's been broken for many console players for a few months. So you will probably still be placing wall coverings one tile at a time. It's a massive problem with no fix for it as yet.
But at least flooring placement works with the Y button.
If you do find that your wall placement using Y is broken, here's the bug report:
Edit: I just thought of another issue you might find. When using Y to toggle flooring placement you may find it defaults to full room ceiling placement instead. If that happens, just press Y again while holding the floor tile to go through the different selections. You'll see it go from Place Ceiling Tiles by Room or by Tile, then you'll see it go to Place Flooring by Room or by Tile. It's frustrating when it happens but just keep pressing Y while you have a tile ready to place (it doesn't work for me unless I'm holding a tile).
