Xbox one Sims 4 will not load, it gets stuck at a little towards half way..

I own 85 packs on the xbox one, I have spent a great deal of time and money on not only the xbox sims 4, but also the Pc aswell. My game on xbox one, was working aug 31, and now it will not load as of yesterday. I have un-installed the game and spent 5 hours re-installing the game and all 85 dlc's and it is still not working. It starts loading, and then stops before it is even half way done. I have enclosed a picture to show you. What is going on, How do I or you fix this?

@AbC2438a3410088That's not from clearing the locally saved data, which is safe step advised by Xbox Support.
There's another underlying issue. There are currently some issues with console saves, loading and crashing.

I'm attaching an open bug report for you since standard troubleshooting hasn't helped.

Have you tried clearing locally saved data? As a first step go to Sims 4 on your console home screen (when your game is not running) and use the button with 3 lines on it (menu button) go to manage game and add-ons. On the following page go to Saved Data, that will take you to 2 sets of data. Pick the first set of data next to your gamertag/username and delete from console only at this point. Ignore Reserved space. Then immediately load up your game, it should do a data sync while loading.

That's a lot to run on an Xbox one so once your game is running I'd clear some game storage. I'd check your save files aren't excessive. On Xbox Series X I never run more than 3, currently it's just 2 and one of those is my backup. I keep my library virtually empty. I clear extra Townies from Other Households daily as more are created by the game after travelling etc and they can really slow down your game if they get out of control. Since I got For Rent and Lovestruck I'm getting several new ones each day. Also I clear the personal and household inventories of any households I'm not playing, even fridges. These are tips we see regularly on this forum but I've also had this advice from Xbox Support when I was on Xbox one.

There are additional steps here you can also try:

  • I know you were only trying to help, but your advice made me end up losing my whole save file.

@AbC2438a3410088Which advice? Clearing locally saved data only from a console can't lose a save file and is from Xbox Support. Or do you mean the EA Troubleshooting Steps?
There are some current issues with losing saves/saves being renamed Autosave or disappearing completely. There's also a current error code 0 problem which is making the game impossible to save for some players. Are you seeing any of these issues? Also a new patch has just been released, patch 1.99 for consoles if you'd like to update the game and see if you notice any improvement.

  • when i cleared the local save data only from the console, the game wouldn't even load, it only started to load after i had to delete the file whole. and after I did so, the game is still only loading to like it was and not fully loading...the only way i have been able to get on is through shutting off the net and going offline, only then does it load, so i don't get gallery or any SD updates.... this was not an issue up until 2 weeks ago,All my other games seem to be loading just fine. I have no clue what is going on and why it is doing this, nothing changed from aug until when it stopped working sept 1st.

Btw, I hope I am not coming off as nasty to you, I know you are only trying to help and I appreciate it...Just frustrated cause I literally have spent over 1k on this game and it's packs for both console and pc...just abit angry with my game not working how it should, the update did nothing to resolve this issue.
