Hello, I hope someone is able to help me!

Back in March I had followed the required steps to move the EA folder and Sims 4 game to my external SSD and it had been working absolutely fine.

Just yesterday I went to go launch my game and Origin (still on my external) was taking forever to launch and I soon had to force quit the app after it wasn't responding. I had uninstalled the Sims 4 game and then reinstalled. When I tried to launch it again, a messaged saying "Sims 4 is already running" while it was not. 

I am at a loss of what to do. Should I reverse the symlink I had created to move the EA folder to my external SSD? Is it possible? I am using a Mac Mini 2020.

Any help is appreciated 🙂

    The error is covered in the symlink guide. What troubleshooting steps did you take to try and fix it?
