I bought a new Toshiba Caivo 2 TB hard drive for my macbook. It was easy to configure, but i just got the memo that Orgin is now EA app. I downloaded the Ea app since Orgin won't let me back on the platform to use. I've located the base game and all packs to my hard drive and it shows up as the sims icon with the sims 4 packs folder. The Electronic Arts folder I've moved it from my Documents to my hard drive with the mods folder in it as well as the Resource.cfg attached. I've checked to see if the Enable Mods box was checked and by default it is checked. I have unchecked the box/rechecked it, clicked apply, exited the game, restarted the game. Uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game, done repairs to all the packs. The mods I'm using are completely updated. Am I missing something as to why these mods won't show up? Not even on start up as the box is checked will the Mods list pop up before anything.
I've even gone as far as checking my computer system making sure my firewall is off.
You have to create a symlink to store the Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 user data folder on an external drive. See the opening post on page 1.
