After update, suddenly it says "Sims 5" and cannot start
Hi!
So i just got pack to playing sims 4, after a month or so off not playing.
I downloaded the most recent update, and now I have waaaay too many problems. From 0 problems and everything working fine, now it's just... a mess.
First off, when I tried starting it after the update was installing and stuff, I got an error saying something about origin not being online. Weird, since i started it with origin.
Secondly, I restarted origin, and then it said that my "game version" was wrong. Except I haven't uninstalled anything, so the game version SHOULD be the same. I removed the GameVersion.txt that someone somwhere recommended me doing, and now the appplication for the game now starts... Except it's name is now "The Sims 5". WHAT.
It also says that my packs haven't finished downloading. (I have them on my computer since at least half a year??)
When it loads, when I create a household, the game doesn't recognize any of my expansion-packs or game packs.
So... What the....
What the heck broke in the latest update?
I've removed all the costum content(That all worked a month ago). I tried repairing the game through origin. Didn't work.
I have a macpook pro(mid 2014, i5 core), with MacOS mojave 10.14.5
I really just wanna play the game. What can I do?
(Screenshots of the said "the sims 5" application name. Soooo weird.)
