No problems, all clear.
Now I'm dealing with all the buildings and portals within the realm of magic disappearing so I think i'll pause playing for a little.

This Sims Direct post should help you understand better the limitations to the game and how you've been exceeding them -

Let me be clear, I am not a moderator in any way, nor do I have any interest in moderating these forums or individual posts or users. I am only interested in Mac specific tech issues in the game that I can try and help to resolve and pass onto Maxis QA if they aren't already aware so users can get back into their game as quickly as possible.
I think my issue is that I followed one of the solutions to try and get my pictures back from previous saves, and after I did, I didn't check my environment and me putting back those pictures into my current saves messed up the family I am currently playing with.
So it is not a hardware problem, in my case, it is a "I should just accept I lost all my pictures, and move on" problem in my case. As you pointed out. Also I didn't realize there is such a thing as "excessive" within creation, it is a bit limiting wouldn't you think? Had I known, I would have not bothered, and this is not a rebuke to you, I've just been playing for years and seen many a house, and didn't read anywhere that I had to be careful to the amount of photos or windows I used. So if this had been officially said before, I apologies.
In addition, I usually, genuinely, can't find tags that explain my type of issue, so that point (the whole post really) was me being frustrated. But I appreciate you having to "moderate", also it is not your fault the game at the moment is not at it's best. I hope you can appreciate that after 12 years of playing somethings will be baffling. But that's a me problem.
As always thank you for taking the time.

I've merged your new post into your thread from a couple of weeks ago as you say you're having the exact same issue again, a new thread isn't going to fix your problem and it helps to have all of our troubleshooting in the same thread for reference.
We figured out that as well as iCloud your saves were bloated with a massive amount of custom photos and that you had an excessive amount of glass roofs, walls and windows in your builds. These are known to affect game performance so you need to limit what you have in your game. You can't have a limitless amount of everything. Are you still attempting to play those saves?

Those tags won't help anyone. It is accepted that if a user is asking for help their game is probably "broken" in some form, sometimes a game issue, sometimes a hardware issue, sometimes a OS issue, sometimes a software issue. Specifics are important.
I can't use caps-lock because if i do, I will receive a "it is not nice yelling at people, how woul dyou feel if people were yelling at you?"-email so I'm just hear writing out of frustration.
I had an error at the beginning of last month where all my buildings disappeared. Thanks to someone helping me, we concluded that it was because my cloud hadn't update. I took the L and ran with it.
So I started playing again. My cloud is fully updated and all downloaded and now after a whole month of playing, all my houses are gone again.

I will not yell, I will not curse, but I thin it is time to find solutions beyond the FAQ. Because this isn't fair, it is painful and really a waste of time, and me trying to explain this here, I will not be taken seriously, but it is only fair to give a headsup.

Okay I see (thank you again for taking the time btw).
I'll try and clear the personal inventories for my sims (the extra pictures in particular).
Once is done (hopefully I'll do it soon), I'll come and report!
ToKi!
Thanks! I loaded your save (254 MB) and the resume game household was so laggy, I suspect all the glass roofs, walls and windows weren't helping. As soon as I bulldozed the house the lag disappeared and the save dropped by 30 MB.
I then quit the game and loaded your save again and trashed all 10 households in the Household Manager. It went from 254 MB down to 63 MB. It may be that all your custom photos, including memorial ones, are a contributing factor to the save bloat. If you get rid of them from the inventories that may help.
Perfect!
Just sent you my latest save file, through GD, in a PM đ„°
Google Drive is a good place to start if you have a Google account. Make sure the file is shareable, Google have help pages on this. Or wetransfer.com, Dropbox.
Thank you!
I've never done this before, any good sites you can suggest please? đ„č
