Cannot launch game - no custom content/mods

Hey, I can open the game, but when I try to load my saved game, it just gets stuck on the loading screen.

I do not use custom content/mods.

I tried moving the Sims 4 folder out of the EA folder to my desktop, and I was able to create and play a whole new game.

Is there a way for me to be able to get back into my saved game, though?

    Start with a clean TS4 folder again. Once the game has launched and created it immediately quit at the main menu. Then copy your problematic save into the new saves folder and try to launch the game. Does it now load?
