Can't get Sims to launch on Mac

Anytime I try to launch Sims, Sims closes and it brings me to the EA App. I uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing worked. Then, I updated my Mac (to Sequoia 15.3.2), repeated the same steps, and it still won't work. Anyone have any idea why?
