Have you:
- Tried repairing the game by right clicking on it in Origin
- Moved out your Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts and then tried playing and travelling
I also found this on Crin's site which may be useful - http://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/extended-loading-time/

You have to right click (or hold down CTRL and click if you don't have secondary click set up) the game in Origin and a pop up up appears with the option to Repair Game:
And you haven't lost your game, don't worry. By moving out your Sims 4 folder from Documents you have started a brand new one without any saves, CC, Mods, settings etc. Your previous game will be safe in the folder you moved. Can you make a new Sim, play for a few minutes and send your Sim travelling to see if it still happens?
- ApprovedAnonymous9 years agoThese are the only options it gives me. No repair button. I have made a new sim and yes they can travel places without any problem. Is this because of using cheat codes? I noticed the first time it acted up i had the testing cheats true on so then I quit using the cheats and it worked a few times but then with the last sims family I was playing even when I hadn't used any cheat codes yet it still wouldn't let me travel. So I guess the cheat codes doesn't effect it? it must be something else. I really appreciate your help!
