Unable to download anything. Infinite timeout.

I have been unable to download anything from the gallery or friend's creations for a few weeks now. It always says it has timed out and try again later. So not only are people not seeing our newest  creations, but they also cannot download due to timing out. Once it does time out, the only way to exit is force exit. That's that the greatest on my laptop. 

Please help me fix this. I do play on a laptop.
