this happened to me with the latest patch PC 1.52.100.1020 / Mac 1.52.100.1220. now I can barely play my game. I tried removing my custom content and repairing but it's still the same.
here's my device specs:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)
Processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB

Thanks for the Mac specs. I've merged your post with this one where others are reporting lag. Please trash your Options.ini file in your Sims 4 folder, move out your Mods folder and trash the localthumbcache.package file then load up your game and see how it performs. All graphics settings will have been set to default, test the game with these settings before raising them.Hi, just adding my voice to the chorus. Experiencing major lag in CAS that improves somewhat with zoom. Rotate keys especially are skippy/stuttery. Things I have tried: trashing options.ini, moving mods folder out, trashing localthumbcashe.package, playing on lower settings.

Thanks for being so detailed in your responses. Do you think it happens with certain outfits, or certain categories of outfits? Or is it all the time in CAS? Is it male/female or both?
