Ever since Cats and Dogs it endlessly loads and I cannot play - I have no mods

Alright so I keep having this issue for almost a week now. I have a mac and I use CC and Mods perfectly fine all the time, all the way up to the release day of Cats and Dogs it plays fine. When I first downloaded the Expansion Pack on release day, I opened the game and all was well. I clicked play, I went to the household I normally play with, and I went to play the house. It sat and loaded. FOR ALMOST 4 HOURS until I finally came back to my computer to shut it off. I tried deleting all my CC and Mods, it didn't work. I tried to edit household before I went to play and that worked, but I can only go in CAS mode from the main map and that's it. I have spent days and days trying and I have contacted support around 17 times and I have never once gotten a reply. I have been waiting for this expansion and I've had it in my calendar since the release date was announced. I spent so much money on this and I can't even play it. I backed up my saves, in case that's the next move but I would really like to avoid that. Please help. I have no where else to go.
