Game won't start with cc or mods installed

So, since the latest patch update I’ve been having a weird issue with my game...

Whenever I play with any types of CC or smaller mods, my game won’t start!

It goes to this screen...

and then halts, either just stops, or the rainbow wheel appears, and I have to force it to shut down!

It somehow works with the MCC and WW folders still in the mods folder, but the second I put anything else in; nothing!!!

I’d rather not play without my CC as my savefiles are filled with stuff and I’d have to remake everything 😩

I play on a iMac, new last year and updated! I’ve uninstalled and re-installed both origin and the game itself!

Any tips or ideas?

I just updated yesterday, so the most recent one! Sorry I’m at my phone rn so I’m not 100% sure of the number!

Help! I was launching my game today and it wouldn't work. I combed through my mods folder to try and find a problem, but it still wouldn't work. I then launched the game, and all of my progress and mods were lost. There are three different 'electronic arts' folders on my computer, and I tried to move my mods into each of them. None would work. I am so confused so please help.

I just tried all of those related to my issue,  nothing worked. Same issue after renaming the folder, and the problem started before I updated my Mac anyways...

Incompatible mods seem to be the culprit. For the multiple folder, please could you click on your Mods folder once to select it then go to File > Get Info. Under the General > Where section near the top of the info window please copy and paste the location of your Mods folder here. Please do this for all the Mods folders you have.

My Mac is in Norwegian, but I think I did it. 

I feel like I should add the I've tried to take out all the folders and only have one in at the time, but it still doesn't work, and there's no same item in all the folders, so it doesn't seem to be one broken file. 

My game also runs with MCCC and WW folders in the mods, but nothing else.

I have multiple folders inside the mods folder to try to keep track, is that not a good idea?

I think my storage is fine, but should I not have the EA files in the iCloud drive?
