HELP MacOS - Lost All Saved Games after Overriding Configuration
PLEASE DELETE
Please help.
Could not access 'Manage Worlds' page and kept experiencing an 'Unrecognised Video Card' pop-up when opening The Sims4.
I found instructions on Reddit & this forum to delete the game and re-download. I followed instructions and relaunched, and I kept having the same issues. I came across Puzzleaddicts instructions (https://answers.ea.com/t5/PC/READ-FIRST-Unrecognized-video-card/td-p/9472783) to override the configuration folder.
I relaunched the program and had no pop-up, then realised I no longer had any of my previous saved games. Access my Saves fodler in my computer drive and nothing was in there! Have I lost everything?
I enjoy building more than playing and do not want to create Sims every time I want to build/create. Why can't I access the 'Mange Worlds' page?
I am using an M2, 2022 MacBook Air on macOS Sonoma 14.4. Graphics device info after downloading and replacing the config:
