Help! My Sims4 won't close with "Save and Exit" on my Mac.

Hey y'all, if you could help me it would be much appreciated. I just got Sims4 yesterday, and when I went to Save and Exit for the night, it would not close. I've had my computer open for three hours today, and still nothing. It's just stuck saving, and I can't do anything. I tried repairing the game in Origin– it's not even an option I can select. I also tried entirely restarting my computer without having the windows open again– that didn't work either. I've right-clicked and selected Quit so many times, but nothing. It's just stuck. My battery is dying so insanely fast when not plugged in, please please help.
