Help! Sims 4 won't install on mac

I have the same problem!  My game supposedly fully downloaded, but now it is saying that the download failed and won't let me resume the download.  Please help!

I had the same problem yesterday. Tried again today and it's still not installing. 

Could be an Origin cache issue. Try manually uninstalling Origin and then reinstalling.

I've tried again, and nothinh happened. ☹️

Did you delete the cache files as @CitrusViking suggested above ?

If i uninstall origin, will i lose my other game's save files?

I'm having the same problem. i have called origin and they have no idea. i tried reinstalling origin, repairing my computers disk and all the other crazy options they had me try. Nothing is working. i just wanna play sims ☹️

Why can't they fix this problem?

Did anyone else have it ask you for language selection before downloading but there were no languages in the drop box? 

This is the most torturous thing ever... I've waited 3 months for this & now I just get to look at the box art on my game hub. 😕mileysad:
