Mouse drift (Mostly in CAS)

I haven't yet tested with the camera in live mode/build mode, but in CAS when i try to rotate the sim or move features it feels almost like my mouse is fighting against me and i have to be quite intense or aggressive using it and even then its a bit messy and doesnt really work properly.

I do have mods installed, however i played before without mods and had the same issue.

Im brand new to mac and apple products in general so i dont know if this is a super known issue or if theres a way to fix it or how, i have no idea as im used to playing on windows.

I use the built in trackpad and am not able to use an external mouse due to a lack of a surface to use it on, this was never an issue with windows, but when ive switched to mac its become an issue.

I googled it and google said to try playing in windowed mode, which i have tried and it didnt work!!
