Forget uninstalling and reinstalling the game, it's not necessary for your issue. Please run a Terminal search. Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and enter the following search command then hit enter/return:
find ~ -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/nullThe command prompt will reappear when the search has finished. Copy and paste the results here.
Ah okay scratch all I said, I had a look through all of them and found the right Documents folder! It just ended up being buried amongst like 30 there Documents folders. Thanks for all your help!
