January 2025 update gone?

I've updated my sims in January, the update that included new kitchen items, doors, windows etc., and when I went to play the other day, I found that all of the items from that update was gone. 

I've checked, my game is updated with the newest update. I thought the base game update was free and therefore the items would be there forever, but perhaps I've missed something? 
The Spencer-Lewis-Kim household, and all of the other 'OG'-sims families houses, are 'the new editions', those houses updates are still in the game, which to me seems a bit strange considering I can't find any of the base game update items.. 

I can't seem to find questions or answers that tells me, that it is a problem anyone else has experienced, so I thought it might be my Mac, but I've never had an issue like this before.

Can someone help? :))))
