Hi I was wondering if anybody has any idea what is going on with my Origin. I've searched the web and found similar cases like this but not quite. I am a MacBook Pro user, fully up to date with little in the way of files downloaded onto this as it is fairly new. I was on Sims 4 all morning, origin responded fine. I shut my laptop down, and came back to it some hours later to find that origin wouldn't open. I have had the laptop with origin on it for just under a year. I'm very confused to why all of a sudden it won't launch. When I launch the origin app itself or Sims 4 it will load up fully, I will log into the helper section, then... blank log in screen, that can't be clicked on & then has to be forced closed. I have tried some trouble shooting, IE deleted & re-downloading origin. I have also downloaded the origin reset tool, attempting to use this along side deleting & re-downloading origin. However, I've had absolutely no luck what so ever.Ive removed mods/CC from the Sims 4 folder, tried this, but no luck with this... Ive tried removing the Sims 4 folder all together on to the desktop, but still showing a blank log in screen. 😠Please help, I've been trying to make this work now for around 4 hours. I've been in a live chat room for 2 of those hours- in a 98 person queue, I got down to 30th in the queue... for my internet to dip & take me off the page...🤐I have linked below in pictures my Mac details & also a picture of what my blank log in looks like. Also tried that but nothing. I reset my iMac in a clean state and my Origin is working now

Yes I wipe it clean and reinstall MacOS

Hi, thank you so much for getting back to me. 😇 Took your advice & used the safe mode option. This did not work, but did appear differently on my screen this time on the origin log in... I have linked a photo for you. Also, putting my Mac in safe mode made the monitor of the laptop quite glitchy, is this normal? Please send any further suggestions you have to attempt to make my origin work. It has been like this for a week now... Many thanks 🙂

Hi, I contacted EA after being sat in a queue of 100 people, and they sent me this link. I downloaded it, and it was not successful, in-fact the log in origin box was even smaller and was not interactable. I told him this - and he said that I must restart my Mac for it to work... when I did this there was no change. So not only was it not working... I was then expected to wait in a 100 person queue again. I will link a photo below for you with what it looks like when I run origin with this setting in place.Thank you so much for all your help. I feel like nothings working ☹️

MacBook Pro User - Origin Blank Log In Screen. Please Help.

It’s also happening to me as well. All the things you done, I tried as well but no avail. I already contacted EA and I’m waiting for their reply back to me.

Yes, still no avail at all and plus I tried the Origin client on MacBook Air mid 2011 (MacOs High Sierra) and I got log in. So I did that if the problem with Origin or my Mac. But since I got in through my MacBook Air maybe it’s my iMac is the problem but I’m playing the Sims 4 using Origin Client in my iMac ever since 2016 up till September 19,2019. So i don’t know what happen, i try reinstall it, reset Origin, turn off my firewall, turn on and off my wifi, clear off Origin cache and so on so fourth. But nothing happened.

Wow, what a performance just to get Origin to work. I wonder what it was causing it? We will never know but good that you have it working again 🙂
