my game is crashing since the march 17 update !!

hi, I updated my game due to the sims team stating the cc bug was fixed. however, everytime I add cc my game crashes. I've added it in batches, cc that's been cleared for the update, yet my game crashes. the game works after a restart, but restarting my computer every time I add cc doesn't make sense. I had over 400gb of cc I just deleted to start over so I'm trying to add it bit by bit. I've repaired the game, started over with a clean folder, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game but nothing seems to be working.
