Good news. I copied in my old saves and still no crashing. There are other issues with one save I've been playing for a while (relating to unhappy barn animals, etc.) but that ticket is under investigation, last I checked. The new Sims 4 folder seems to have resolved this crashing one. Thanks! I'll play it more thoroughly over the weekend, but I was able to play for a full hour with no crashing, where before it crashed at least once in that timespan.
