Open to Gallery makes me force quit the game

(Mac User) I've been playing the sims 4 game for quite awhile without any problems until recently, every-time I go to open the gallery, and close it to continue playing, the buttons seems to stop responding and I can't do anything. I can move the camera, but thats it. My player is moving all by themselves and I'm struggling to get back control. I've already remove the game twice, deleted Ea files along with the app, and I even repaired the game numerous time. Ive done it without my mods and with and there both ending up the same. I don't know what to do now.
