Origin won’t download or open on MacBook

Please help. Origin is not opening to download on my new Mac laptop. I just bought this Mac to play sims and it is it working. When I download it I click on the origin.dmg file and it takes me to move...

Your Mac is not powerful enough to play the Sims unfortunately and does not meet the requirements to run Origin. Origin needs OS X Mavericks 10.9 or later ☹️

        Yes, you will need a new computer which meets the requirements for Origin and Sims. Which Sims game do you want to play?

        Origin requirements:

        • macOS 10.9 Mavericks or later
        • Intel Core 2 Duo (i3 or later is preferable)
