Re: Can't find electronic arts folder

I checked that folder and its empty

Please could you click on the Sims 4 folder once to select it then go to File > Get Info. Under the General > Where section near the top of the info window please copy and paste the location of the folder here.

i don't have a sims 4 folder on my computer, only a "sims 4 packs" folder but for that folder the pasted info is /Users/*my name*/Applications

Ok. As your saves are actually loading, try this:

Launch the game and click on load game then hover over one of the households to see the file path:

it says /Users/*my name*/ Documents/Electronic Arts/ The Sims 4/saves/slot_00000003.save

however in my documents folder there is no electronic arts folder showing up, not even when i do a search for one

Don't do a search. The Electronic Arts folder is hidden from a search, you will never find it if it is in the correct location which, judging by your screenshot, it is. Are you sure it's not there? The file path you're pasting here shows that it is in the correct location.

yes, my entire documents folder is empty
