@MissTranquility For everyone having this problem, I found it inside the application on The Sims 4.app/Contents/Resources/drive_c/users/Public/Documents/Electronic Arts

That is not the location of your user data where saves, mods, screenshots, tray and other user content is stored. The location for the user data is:

Macintosh HD > Users > [User] > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4

It's also odd that you have that file location referencing a C drive which is for Windows users. Where did you download your game from? Because my installed game on 3 different Macs currently does not have this file path: drive_c/users/Public/Documents/Electronic Arts

    It has something to do with the fact that my Sims 4 application opens using the app Wine
