@Bluebellflora I did do a little bit of research & you mentioned creating another folder if we didn’t see one like the one below which I did, the problem is months ago I had another problem with my game & had to create another user & start playing from there.
So here’s the thing, I created the new folder “The Sims 4 Packs” & transfered them to that one on my Macintosh HD BUT not all of them are showing on the username that I actually play in.

    @ximenarifai

Your installation sounds like a mess. The Sims 4 Packs folder is automatically created when you install the game, no need to manually create it.

    I would:

    1. Uninstall the entire game
    2. Change the default game library location to Macintosh HD/Applications in Origin > Installs & Saves
    3. Re-download the game and packs. The Sims 4 Packs folder will be automatically created and DLC will be installed in it

That’s what happens when I had to create a new user to download the game & now I have two users with different games when I don’t really play on one.
So, how can I uninstall everything when Origin doesn’t even load properly? It’s still a white box, I can’t even access Origin, all the buttons are blank & unresponsive

so The Sims 4 app itself is located in Macintosh HD, but I can see there’s 3 different The Sims 4 Packs folders, one in my Admin user, another one in my secondary user & a third one in Macintosh HD. They all have a different number of EP, GP & SP installed. That might be an issue.
Also, the reset tool isn’t fixing Origin on the user that I play in

@Bluebellflora  So what happens if the Sims 4 Packs folder in Macintosh HD seems to have less packs than the other 2 folders? Do I trash the rest & then try to reinstall all of my content? Will I lose all of the things that say are not installed in my game?

I'm gonna try to manually reset Origin first & if that doesn't work, I'll try to reinstall it & report later.

@Bluebellflora I'm so so sorry for the spam but I did manually uninstall Origin with the link you sent me, I erased all of the other Sims 4 Packs folders except the one located in Macintosh HD, restarted my laptop, reinstalled Origin & it still a freakin' white box, leaving me completely unable to access the app to see what's up with my game & packs.

I have attached a screenshot of how the app looks when you try to open it up.

Again, thank you so much for all that you do for the community of players.

    Yes, I did!

I also did all the suggestions in the troubleshooting post:

    1) I reset my Origin

    2) Verified my Gatekeeper settings & they do allow downloads from other known developers

    3) Flushed my DNS successfully

    4) Disabled proxy settings (although this step confuses me because the SOCKS PROXY is checked every time I restart my Mac even though I uncheck it every time)

    5) My internet speed reads: Download (93.87 Mbps) Upload (21.97 Mbps)

    6) I did able my Firewall instead of disabling it because it has been disabled & hadn't worked

    7) My Mac host files but they appear to be fine since I don't have the gs.apple.com entry appear on Terminal which according to the post would be an issue

And now my Origin appears to be just fine...Don't know if it had anything to do with Firewall since thats the only step that changed this time or if flushing the DNS cache every time is gonna do the trick now or what. I will try to run the game & see if it works & if all my content is there & report back.

@Bluebellflora got it to stop loading forever & work at some point by disabling Origin in game but then noticed that all of the content (hairs, clothes, etc) from purchased packs where showing broken with like the red and white checkers and question marks all over which means that even though it shows that I own that content in game, for some odd reason its not recognizing it as such. Also when I exited the game to see what was happening, I uninstalled the game, to reinstall all of the packs to see if that would work but I'm stuck in offline mode even though I have a good wifi connection & Origin is allowed incoming connections, now I cannot even access Origin since there is a message saying a need to be online to access my account for the first time ;/ leaving me unable to redownload my games. This truly sucks!

I'm heading to bed now, so I will make sure to read through that thread tomorrow! & the game I uninstalled like I told you, thinking I was going to be able to redownload it before Origin decided to fail me once again. But before that happened it was located in the Macintosh HD --> Applications along with the Sims 4 Packs (this one is still installed there)
