Okay so I have been having this problem for a very long time now. I have done a lot of research but for some reason I cannot get my mods folder back. I have tried everything. I wanna be able to get my mods back. nothing has worked.
Are CC/Mods enabled in the game options?
Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:
find ~ -type d -name "*Mods*" 2>/dev/null
After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.

Thanks. The Mods folder is where it should be, in the Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder - 3 years ago

Ah I see. You have a folder in your iCloud Drive. See here to fix it https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Saves-CC-Mods-or-Library-items-disappeared/m-p/8071682#M50294 - 3 years ago

I deleted my old mod folder because they weren't showing up on the game, but even after downloading fresh mods, the problem persists. What shall I do? I have 2TB of storage on my Mac, so I know it's not a storage issue. Since I haven't played Sims in a long time, it really aggravates me that my mods won't load when the game first launches. Yes, I did enable all of the mods and ccs. What can I do?
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@orignialbadgyal1 I merged your post with the main Mods/cc FAQ. Please check the first post under common pitfalls to find out how to check which folder your game actually uses.
It's possible that you are checking the wrong folder.
If you have any more problems, please post a picture of your mods folder. - orignialbadgyal12 years agoNew Novice

Can you please post another screenshot but this time showing the file path at the bottom of the Finder window. If you’re not sure how to enable the file path this Apple article will help https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mchlp1774/mac - orignialbadgyal12 years agoNew Novice
this?
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@orignialbadgyal1 No, ,the ingame list. If you go to that option where you turned on script mods, there's a button that shows you the mods you have installed.

☹️
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@orignialbadgyal1 Sorry, I got user confused. Your original screenshot was the correct one.
You seem to be using oneDrive so I moved your post to the mac thread on this. Please refer to the first page for more details. - Bluebellflora2 years agoHero+@orignialbadgyal1
Your issue is iCloud Drive. As Crin has said, follow the instructions in the opening post to get your Sims 4 folder stored locally so the game can load the data.
