red and white checkers with questionmarks

Hi, 

I have a problem with my game. The sims and some textures in the furnitures are covered in red and white checkers with questionmarks. I have googled, and tried following: 

Repairing game trough origin

Setting graphic to ultra

Reinstalling game (twice) 

Emptying cache 

The problem happened shortly after downloading "City life", but the day I downloaded, the game ran perfectly. 

I have no CC or mods installed. 

What can I do?
