Sims 4 already running

Question

I’ve had this issue for a few months now. I try to open my sims 4 game but I get an error on my screen saying that I can’t open the sims 4 because the sims 4 is already running. I’ve tried everything (uninstalling, re downloading, checking my activity monitor, clearing EA and the sims from my applications and all my files, restarting multiple times, updating my laptop, even creating a new EA account) looks like it’s some sort of computer glitch&nbsp;

IsabellaM69 it isn't a computer glitch, it is because the game cannot access the Sims 4 folder to load data from, usually because permission has been denied when prompted.
