sims 4 cas traits panel not showing up

hello! as mentioned in the title, the trait panel is not showing up in game. i literally just downloaded ts4 to my macbook and so do not have any custom content or mods downloaded - my trait panel is...

    hi, the issue seems to be fixed now. i repaired again and it seemed to sort it. thank you though.

CC and Mods are separate from the game installation. Rename the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts then launch the game. Does it still happen?
