Sims 4 crashes Mac after November 2019 Update

I can't even open the game after this update and it crashes my entire computer everytime I try. I have no mods or cc installed and I have no clue what to do.

For some of us it seems as it's actually not even possible to play since it crashes on startup. 
Can only hope EA understands how this is alienating some players.

      I'm on 10.12.6 and need that for software that's not compatible or working well with newer versions.
