Sims 4 no longer starting?

Sul Sul! I am using Mac by the way - I do use CC/Mods. There were signs of a broken mod, so I went through my usual process of trying to narrow it down to figure out which mod was broken. I ended up getting rid of all mods/cc and then I repaired the game. I went to start the game, and it does not start. I uninstall the EA App, and redownload it, and redownloaded the sims 4 and also repaired it some more. It is still not opening, even as a fresh game. What else can I do to get the game back up and running?
