Sims 4 stuck on loading screen....forever.
i got the sims 4 about 4 days ago, and it was working rlly well until I restarted the game to get a mod (mccc or something like that), but when i came back, the game wouldn't load, I literally had it load 12 hours overnight and nothing happened.
I deleted the problematic mod, still wouldn't load. Deleted all my mods, nothing. I tried using backups of my save slot, nothing. I tried multiple worlds and everything, it let me view the worlds and customize the sims but when I try to actually play the game, it goes to the loading screen, I hear the sound that it makes when its finishing loading, but it goes on forever.
Ive reinstalled sims 4, restarted my computer, deleted my cache, repaired the game through the EA mac app...and I restarted the game dozens of times ☹️
It also deleted some of my data, when I was viewing the world maps, the houses I built for my sims were gone.
This is very stressful and I spent a ton of hours setting everything up and I can't play the game anymore!! Please help..
By the way I have an old 2013 iMac my dad gave me that I repaired, so yeah
