Sims 4 won't launch - MAC

Since yesterday I am not able to open the sims 4 game. When I click on it in the EA app, the green diamond appears in the screen, however it doesn't open the game but opens the EA app again. I alread...

Are you getting any error messages?

Try the clean game folder again - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612394#M163

No I do not get any error messages. The icon bounces and than the EA app is openened again...
