Sims 4 won't launch, keeps boomeranging back to the EA app

I have a macbook. I've tried everything - clearing the cache, repairing the game, uninstalling the Sims 4, uninstalling the EA app, restarting my computer, letting the problem rest over night. The ga...

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? This has happened to me a few times, and sometimes that seems to work. Sometimes I completely shut my Mac off, then restart it again, which sometimes fixes it.

Yeah I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Sims 4 and the EA app itself, desn't work :/ Should I try multiple times?
