Sims 4 won't launch

So I did a 50/50 mod/cc clear to try to find out what was glitching my game (ended up being a bug in the game, not a mod) and when I put it all back into my mods folder, some of the mods and cc glitched and went into the trash can. I pulled them from the trash as well, and put them back into my mods folder, but when I try to relaunch Sims it doesn't work. I could launch the game before I pulled the missing mods and cc from the trash can, but now I cannot. I'm really confused, because my game has had these mods and cc before and has handled it just fine, like I played literally an hour before I did the 50/50, so I'm really unsure of what to do. 

Here are the things I have tried so far and hasn't worked:

• Restarting my mac
• Repairing the game
• Signing out and logging back in
• Removing my L files and other caches
• Clearing cache

Any ideas? I'm on a Mac btw.
