Sims Medieval Won't Start

Question

I downloaded the Sims Medieval and am attempting to run it on a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro with a 2.9 GHz Intel core i7, a 2.9 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, and a Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB. Every time I click play in Origin it begins to open and then I get this message " Unable to start game. Device 0 cannot run this title. Your video card does not appear to support at least Shader model 2. Please upgrade your card."

Is there some way to fix this in settings or do I just need to purchase a new graphics card? If I need a new graphics card do you have any recommendations?

You cannot update the graphics card in MacBook Pros and I think you have a 13" MacBook Pro which only has integrated Intel graphics.

Can you please also provide the Device ID of your Intel graphics? Click on the Apple logo then About This Mac then System Report. Click on Graphics/Displays in the left side list and copy the info in the red box below (or better still, upload a screenshot if you can):
