switched from pc to Mac, problems with the sims 4

I just switched from pc to Mac, which means that I have to use origin. when I log in, everything is fine, except for that I lost all my saved games, and got dragged a year back in time, and had many hours less playtime than on my pc. how can I transfer everything I had on my pc to my Mac?

    Your saves and other user data are stored in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 on both Mac and Windows. Copy that Sims 4 folder on your PC onto a USB stick or cloud storage then place it in the same location on your Mac.

    Hours played are irrelevant and dictated by the delivery client, Origin/EA App.
