From what I can tell, there isn't an iCloud drive that it would be going in.
Let's do a thorough check. Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:
find ~ -type d -name "*saves*" 2>/dev/null
After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.

(my name)@(name)-iMac ~ % find ~ -type d -name "*saves*" 2>/dev/null
/Users/(my name)/Desktop/saves copy
/Users/(my name)/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves

Thanks. Can you go into Documents > Electronic Arts and move that whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop then load the game. What happens?- 5 years ago
Oh my goodness, I took a closer look and I realized that I was putting my mods in the wrong folder. I'm terribly sorry for causing all of the hassles. Anyways, thank you so much for helping me! I really appreciate it 🙂)
