I bought the game june 2016 and I've never been able to open it, since origin keeps telling me that "the sims 4 is already running" with the errorcode:

I've already tried reinstalling origin and resetting it. I've checked my task manager and it is not running. I've gotten a new macbook (the touchbar one) and it still tells me that the sims 4 is already running. Help me, please

I can't play sims 4 on my MAC. It keeps telling me this:

Nothing is running, I've restarted, shutdown, cleared the downloaded cache folder. I don't know much about this stuff.
I don't play with mods. (Don't know how and I'm scared to add something and mess it all up.)
What is wrong with this stupid thing??
Nope. Origin redowloaded all the packs I have (which took hours.) and still said I had a game running.
