Hi i have recently swapped from a macbook pro 2011 edition to macbook air 2020. i have backed up all my data from my old mac to my new, i tried opening sims 4 game and it wont load. it comes up with this message
Unable to start:
The Sims™ 4 is already running.

i have uninstalled and re installed origin 4 times, also uninstalled sims4 and re installed and still coming up with message. i dont know why this is happening and i dont know what to do to fix it.

Merged into the main thread. Please see the solution on page 1 and try it. Before doing so you could move the Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop and see if that fixes it.
