Unable to start: The Sims 4 is already running - Mac only

If you're experiencing this error message it doesn't mean your game is already running, the actual message itself is incorrect. It means The Sims 4 cannot access the Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 fold...

Hi, it worked with the new account.. but unfortunately it does not have my progress. Is there any way i can restore what i had?? If not its totally fine, thank you so much for your help.

All your user data such as saves and mods are stored in your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 folder. Copy the contents over to your new user account and you'll be good to go 🙂
