update download FAILURE

i use the "app recovery" "clear the cache" button over and over.
the EA app refuses to download the patch update.
i have had this hassle every single time since getting the EA app. who else is having this problem?
its unbearable. i cant even get help through EA HELP tickets. 
they havent done anything. i cant get help from anyone
