Visual Glitches on Mac?
Hello! About a week ago, my game started glitching badly. Weird lines and flickering started appearing all over the screen in both CAS and gameplay mode. Here are a couple of videos showing the issue...

It didn't start immediately after any update (neither Apple's nor the Sims'), I was just wondering if one of them could've impacted the game, since it had been working well beforehand. I've run Apple Diagnostics and my computer doesn't seem to be the problem. I also updated the game today with the latest patch but the problem persists.

Yes, either update could have affected your game although I doubt an OS update did. The only way you would have known is to do one update, then try to launch the game, then do the other update.

Yes, I have it turned on. I tried turning it off to see if that would help but nothing changed, the glitches are still happening ☹️

Ok. Have you restarted your Mac since this started happening? Restarting can help clear out any system issues.
Is it possible it's Mod related? Have you tried a completely clean Sims 4 folder by renaming/moving the current one in Documents > Electronic Arts and then launching the game? Do not move any of your current user data into the newly created Sims 4 folder. I have restarted and cleaned the Mods folder as you explained and the problem continues ☹️

A clean Sims 4 folder, not just an empty Mods folder. Please see my previous post for explanation. I did this too and it didn't help

Ok. Maybe you have an issue with your Mac. If you find the cause please post with what fixes it to help others who may have the same issue.
