In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure. Won't ever load to the neighborhoods.
What happens when the bug occurs? Once I click play that game goes to the loading screen but never advances. Just keeps going, loading and tips scrolling at the bottom. Will go over an hour unless I finally force quit it.
What do you expect to see? I except to see the game load and then take me to a neighborhood to select a family to play with.

Please describe the patch or change you made. The game was crashing for a lot of players. Sims 4 sent word that bug was fixed. Now the game has this problem.
Since the crashes have been fixed, every time I try to play the sims 4 from organ, the game loads the opening screen where I select play, and from there just cycles on the blue loading screen. Never loads. Never gets to a neighborhood for me to select a family. Help please.
Have you tried repairing your game in origin if not go into origin then click on my game library right click on repair game.
