In the Origin app, right-click on the gear icon next to the Play button and select "Repair".

UPDATE: I un-installed and re-installed origin and the sims and everything was fine again.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a new sims world, make or leave base characters, then continue to play game, once you get to the part where you select whichever world you want nothing will show for me to click on or to continue playing the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? You can't continue playing and then the game freezes and I can't exit... I end up having to force shut down my computer and then game won't work even I try to go onto another world.
What do you expect to see? I try to select a world for my sims to live in and the screen shows up completely blank, no options to click on.
