‘Capture Information’ error

When I try to select ‘Capture Information’ on the Uni presentation it doesn’t work, my sim just stands by it and the task cancels itself. I’ve tried putting in inventory and placing back down, even restarted game a few times but still the same problem. Anybody else struggling with this? I don’t have any mods or cc downloaded
