STRANGE ISSUES
A warm hello – I’m writing to report two unusual situations in the game. Firstly, for some time now, some of my plants in Build mode have been looking as though it’s ‘autumn’, even though I’ve set the season to summer using the cheat to change seasons at any time (seasons.set_season). I’ve already tried to fix this in many ways – uninstalling suspicious mods, clearing the cache from the ‘cache’ files… I should point out that these are plants affected only in Build mode, not in Garden mode. Has anyone else experienced this, or do you know what might be causing it? Secondly – a huge number of newborns have appeared in many unplayed households. Practically one in every four households on the list has 10 new children – what can I do to stop this? I know I can delete these children, but I don’t want this to keep happening .Sims just standing still and move a little
Hello, Today, when I went into my game today, I my sims just stood there and didn't do much, even though they have a movement in the cue. I tried reseting my sims, that didn't work. I tried going in and out of Buildbuy, that didn't work. I did send one of them to another location and back, and that did work for a little bit, but then they just stood there. I even tried to take out all of my mods, and they just still stood there not moving or a little bit of movement, but then they end up just standing around. I am currently repairing my game. I am also wondering if pausing the game too much is causing this issue or that extra thing that I did were I have them pause when the game starts. I just want my sims to move. How do I fix this. And by the way, it's not just one sim in this household that just stood around, but all of them. How do I fix this?Can't play my saved games
If I want to play my saved game it just goes to choose a world and create a new household automatically and that also happens if I click on resume game I can't play with my household that I had. I don't really know what to do it just keeps glitcing the whole time and I already tried to recover and remove my mods.
Action bubbles disappearing
I'm sure this has been reported, but I'm having trouble finding a recent/active post about it. I play on pc, no mods installed, game is all updated. I also play on two different pcs sometimes and it happens on both so it's not just limited to one save I have. I've had this issue for a few months now where I click on a task for my sims to do and it just disappears. They do not give the thought bubble or animation saying that they're stuck or something, the action just disappears. It's not an issue of the object being inaccessible because eventually they will go and use it or complete the action. It takes about 3-4 times of me clicking the same action in order for my sims to complete it. This happens so often it's basically almost every time I try and get my sims to do something. I will literally have to click the same action like "go here" 3-4 times just to get them to do it without the action bubble disappearing.
Can’t open or save lots in gallery
Hello, I’ve tried searching but can’t find anyone with the same issue. Since the latest update my gallery has not been working. I can’t open lots in the gallery, you know when you open them up to then choose to place in world. I click on them but nothing happens, it’s the same thing with lots with cc and lots without. Since it was one of my own created lots I opened up the save with the lot in and tried to save it again, I kept clicking on the save to gallery icon but nothing happened. I’ve tried: restarting the game, restarting the computer (cause why not?), repaired the game, removed the cache folder, removed all cc. The only thing I have tried yet is reinstalling but last time I did that my old save folder didn’t work so i would rather not.. Playing on PC.
Cheats no longer working on PC - no mods or cc
I run Sims 4 on a PC, I noticed that it was running slow, my households were no longer showing on the main page and I was unable to have any cheats work on New games, they do work on my saved games. Due to the extreme slowness I did all of the normal "fixes" - deleted cache, repaired game, uninstalled and reinstalled all games (Rebooting in the middle) game is vanilla and I'm still unable to run cheats ctrl shift c -- testing cheats true -- cas.fulleditmode -- any of them. Is there any thing more I can do or is this due to the update that hit? Thank you
