Freezing and lagging
My game has been freezing. Time will stop and after a few moments everything will pick back up again. It does this all throughout gameplay. Also moving my cursor to select something or someone the option lags to become available. After a few seconds it highlights then I can make my selection.
Noticed a few minor issues
Please note, none of the following glitches I have experienced in my current save appear to be game-breaking. Upon launching game, initial loading screen displays out-of-date logo When entering into a previous save, occasionally the loading screen will display the typical green plumbob on a blue background with just the letters "OK" below Sometimes visual tearing occurs in-game (not sure if it's an issue with the game or just my monitor/GPU) When my sim chats with the lady from the Lost Legacies event (forgot her name sorry), after she leaves the conversation bar stays on screen The green time bars on actions are sometimes inaccurate, for example my sim could be done showering, but it would display as unfinished in the action bar Sometimes my sim will stand around for a few in-game hours before actually attempting an assigned action Random townies visit my sim's house and use his stuff without greeting him nor announcing their presence Phone object reappears in inventory after deleting (would prefer my sim not to have a smartphone in his possession since the dynasty frowns upon it) When my sim reads a book below his skill level, no notice or any indication appears other than "Amateur Hour" moodlet When switching books, my sim will go to the bookshelf to take the book, sit down, then get back up to return the book to its shelf without even reading I'm not sure if some of these are even considered bugs, so I figured I'd post them here. New update messed up my entire game
Hi, I update my game yesterday, everything worked fine. But When I logged back, the lots I built had not been saved (yet they appear as such in the map), and I couldn't play any household as I was kicked back in the world select screen each time. I tried to repair my game, clear the cache, fix the broken mods, but now my packs aren't reloading and I can't even get pass the main menu, as it keeps telling me that my packs are not downloaded (yet I can't download them anywhere, as they are marked as unavailable in game and already installed on the EA app). I'm clueless and have no idea how to fix thisSims 4 not playable after the royalty and legacy expansion
Since purchasing the Sims 4 royalty and legacy expansion pack, my Sims 4 no longer functions. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled it, cleared the cache, deleted all my game saves, and I'm now playing on the lowest graphics settings, yet my game still freezes constantly. This is extremely frustrating because this game is so expensive with all the expansions, and now it has been rendered unplayable. I have now placed all my hopes in the new patch from February 19, 2026 (7.1 GB), but the problem has not been fixed. It is frustrating. I play without mods or CC. I play on PC with the EA App. I just want to play my 100 Baby Challenge :'( XDMy Sims keep resetting and T posing.
Version of the game: 1.121.361.1020 I removed all mods and cc to try and see if they were the cause, but even without them, my sims won't move and will be in an idle animation, then restart and Tpose. i tired debuging them, and i have restarted Sims 4 multiple times. I have no idea how to fix this problem. tags arent relevent, there are none accurate to my issue
Dating sims labeled as acquaintances
My two sims just entered a relationship together but when you go to their social bar it refers to them as acquaintances and it has done this during the majority of their intercourse. I've repaired the game, I reset my sims, exited and came back, even left it alone for the rest of the day but when i came to check on it today I found nothing changed. When you go to the sims panel that shows you all their friends, family, etc and click on where you can see all that they know about each other and stuff it confirms that they are partners so this made me think this was just a visual glitch and didn't actually affect the game. I'm starting to doubt that though because the game had my sim receive a call from their supposed partner asking if they should go on a date with some random sim. hi so I play sims 4 on a MacBook Air and recently after the update my game as been really laggy and it does not let my sims interact with other sims for real there is a play in everything I ask them to do but before the update my game was running perfectly can somebody help me pleaseCritical issue: Save lost and game stuck on white screen
After the latest The Sims 4 update I started having serious issues. First I got an error related to the **bleep** mod, so I removed it and the game worked fine. The next day I opened the game and my save file had completely disappeared. I checked Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Saves and other folders but the save is gone. Now the game freezes on the loading screen, shows a white screen, and I cannot reach the main menu. The game is unplayable and I lost all progress. Please investigate this issue and advise if my save can be recovered.
