Game slow to respond
I play with no mods or cc. I have all the packs. I play on a 2023 ASUS Tuff gaming laptop with nothing on it but the Sims 4. For some reason my game is acting up. First I couldn’t take things out of the geology table and other storages. So I deleted the onlinethumbnailcache folder. Cleared EA app cache and repaired the game. But still had the problem. I uninstalled and reinstalled both game and EA app. Still had the problem. So I completely uninstalled and deleted everything and reinstalled both. I deleted my saves but kept my tray file which I add to the Sims 4 folder after launching the game fresh. This worked for a while but then it started again with the gemology table being a problem. Now the game is supper slow to respond if it responds at all when I click on a Sim to interact. I don’t really have any screenshots to show you because you can’t see the problem in screenshots. My PC and drivers are all up to date.
Can't click on second floor or have any sims access it!
The second floor of my build can't be clicked on to say "go here" nor can any Sims do anything on the second floor. I've tried removing fences, walls, removing stairs, using ladders, removing 1x1 tiles, moving picture frames, removing roofs, EVERYTHING!! I'm losing my mind! I figured this one would need the gallery, so it's called "pls help my second floor" by junebuggle-taken As far as I remember, only the Sims outfits have CC, but the build is non-downloaded if that helps!The game froze due to notifications
When the notification box fills up instead of deleting notifications the game freezes This is an old bug and I don't know why it hasn't been fixed Note I'm playing with 150 Sims in the family and my save file is for 200 Sims which causes the notification box to fill up incredibly fast This means my game is running at high performance but the game's servers are weak and can't handle the game's size
Invisible Pizza?
Good evening! I didn't know exactly where to post this, so hopefully someone sees this! I know that ordering pizzas is definitely not the biggest part of the gameplay, but upon ordering my sim's delicious pepperoni pizza- it came to her invisible! Basically: the pizza delivery sim brings it, my sim takes it inside and puts it on the counter- except I can't see it nor interact with it! I just wanted to bring this up in case anybody needed to know !
Everything deletes in all inventorys
When I load into my home lot my inventory is usually empty, as well as my refrigerator, book shelves, and any type of inventory really. (Knowing I had stuff in my fridge and bookshelf before). If my sim leaves the lot, it deletes everything again in my fridge, book shelf, inventory etc. I've tried starting a new save and coming back later to the game, it did it. All of my saves are like this now, it makes it impossible to play. My college sims homework and university work disappears every time I reload into the game. My child sims homework also get deleted. My inventory cant be trusted. Also homework is glitched with this issue. Any time I buy new homework for my sims to do, they stand at the bookcase trying to complete the task but stand there for hours ive tried resetting the bookcase, the sims, tried on different saves as well. On PC game, fully updated as of 11/ 25/ 25. I removed all cc and mods and retried everything I listed above and still had the problems.
