@Vytautem There isn't anything above the EA App; you can't scroll up a bit? Regardless, you can uninstall the user experience app if you have no use for it.

@Vytautem Adding another 8 GB RAM for 40€ would be an excellent investment overall, whether it helps Sims 4 a lot or a little. It would certainly help with multitasking, both while you're playing and not, because swapping data from RAM to the page file (where the overflow data goes when it doesn't fit in RAM) is much slower than leaving everything in RAM.
Additionally, if your laptop does NOT have a dedicated graphics card, and I don't know whether it does based only on the model, 8 GB is only barely sufficient for Sims 4. An integrated graphics chip borrows from RAM to do its graphics processing, as opposed to a dedicated card that has its own memory. So that 8 GB installed RAM can become 6 GB very quickly, with 2-3 GB taken by Windows as well.
Regardless, if this is a cheap and feasible upgrade for you, it's absolutely a great idea and will make the laptop run better and for longer.
Recently upgraded to 16gb ram but is it normal that I haven’t noticed any difference? My game is the same as it was and my laptop is still very loud and becomes very hot. It shows that I still have 13gb available.
@Vytautem Having more RAM has at best a minimal effect on hardware temperatures; that's not why it can help. Almost all the heat a computer generates comes from the graphics card, if the system has a discrete GPU, and from the processor. The CPU will have a slightly higher workload if it has to swap more data between the RAM and the page file, but that's marginal compared to the work of running a game like Sims 4.
Whether you'd see a difference in-game depends on what the limiting factor was and is when you play. More RAM definitely helps in general; the question is whether it helps in this specific situation. If you'd like to investigate further, please post a dxdiag.

When you say you have 13 GB available, do you mean storage? That's entirely separate from RAM.
I meant there's 13GB available of RAM. At least that's what is shows in task manager. I hope I did everything right with dxdiag. I'm no computers person and can't figure out stuff myself.
